Windows 開始按鈕將會重回 Windows 8.1？

去年推出的 Windows 首次搭載針對觸控螢幕設計的 Metro Morden UI，這個 UI 以佔滿全螢幕的 apps 列表及 apps 作為整個系統的中心，並取消搭載在 狀態 工具列上多年的開始按鈕，導致這個系統遭受不少用戶批評（不知道 Apple 會否在即將舉行的 WWDC 2013 中順道取笑一下 Windows 8 呢？）。

但這個問題可能快要得到 Microsoft 的官方解決方法。據網站 Paul Thurrott's SuperSite for Windows 的報導，Microsoft 將會在 Windows 8.1（代號：Blue）的更新中重新加入那顆經典的 開始按鈕。不知道仍在使用舊版 Windows 的朋友，打算保留在目前版本、升級到 Windows 8，還是加入 Mac 的大家庭？

Windows Blue 將支援與其他 Windows 8 裝置同步 Start Screen 等設定？

較早前，對 Windows 系統有一定研究的 Rafael Rivera 表示，他發現將要推出的 Windows 8 大規模更新—Windows Blue 中將可以與其他登入了同一個 Microsoft Account 的 Windows 8 裝置同步包括動態磚（Live Tiles）的大小、位置，以至配色（Color Scheme）等 Start Screen 設定。

同時，他亦指出除了同步 Start Screen 設定外，Windows Blue 亦將會加入同步 Internet Explorer 的追蹤保護（Tracking Protection）與分頁。此外新增的同步項目也包括 Picture Password、檔案歷史、輸入法設定、檔案總管捷徑、網路分享，以及是已安裝的 apps。
