根據 Cult of Mac 的消息，Apple將於美東時間（UTC-5） 2011/01/19 在紐約古根漢美術館（The Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum）舉辦和教育有關的發表會，而邀請函就以黑板樣式設計，並寫上「Join us for an education announcement in the Big Apple」，估計 Apple 將會在今年第一場發表會中推出針對教育市場的服務（如：電子書）。
